About the Author


Lucy Maud Montgomery was one of the most famous Canadian writers of the twentieth century. She is best known for her books for young adults, particularly "Anne of Green Gables" and its six sequels.

Kate Burton has made numerous stage, film, and television appearances, and was seen on Broadway most recently in Hedda Gabler and The Beauty Queen of Leenane. She played the title role in Alice in Wonderland with her father, Richard Burton, on PBS.

Margaret Atwood is the internationally renowned author of such novels as "Oryx and Crake, Alias Grace", and "The Edible Woman". She is a novelist and a poet, and has also authored short story collections, critical studies, screenplays, radio scripts, and books.
