Jim Gaffigan pens this comical view of parenting young children from the perspective of a somewhat hapless father. Instantly you can relate to the whole family and the everyday trials they face living seven deep in a two bedroom NYC apartment. Gaffigan is humorous throughout and often has you literally laughing out loud. A quick and easy read sure to entertain new and old parents alike.
A fast paced crime thriller that starts in New York and ends in San Francisco, involving a string of characters seemingly a mile long. This novel is full of scandal, corruption, & the mob (all in the first 10 pages!)
Ophelia Cut gets off to a very quick start with a rogue cop in NY, and continues onto the opposite coast in San Fran when he befriends a lawyer and falls for his niece, Brittany. The lawyer is Dismas Hardy, lead character in several of Lescroart’s novels. Hardy is forced to defend his brother-in-law after he is arrested for killing Brittany’s rapist. The suspense and action goes right up to the end, and if you haven’t been reading the Dismas Hardy series yet, you will be sure to continue to find out what happens in the lives of these complex characters.
