Like zombies? Trying to figure out what the whole zombie craze is about? I started with this one. It’s a brilliant concept, particularly if you’re interested in something more than, ‘oh no, the zombie apocalypse and we’re all going to die.’ Set about thirty years after the initial outbreak, Feed offers some fascinating pseudo-science as an explanation behind the virus as well as some really interesting ideas about how humanity would react and adapt to something like a zombie plague. The book is also packed with action and political intrigue. If you enjoyed World War Z, chances are you’ll like Feed. If you get about two thirds of the way through and you’re enjoying the book, go ahead and pick up the sequel. You’re going to want it – the cliffhanger is absolutely epic.

"Astonishing ... a fascinating exploration of the future."
—New York Times
"While there's plenty of zombie mayhem, political snark, and pointedly funny observations here, the heart of this book is about human relationships, which are still the most important thing in the world...even in a world where you might have to shoot the person you love most in the head, just to stop them from biting off your face."
—Locus on Feed"Feed
is a proper thriller with zombies. Grant doesn't get carried away with describing her world or the virus. She's clearly thought both out brilliantly, but she doesn't let it get in the way of a taut, well-written story."—SFX on Feed
