About the Author
Don Daily illustrated many classic children's books and anthologies. He also created posters for many films, including The Lone Ranger, The Great Santini, and Roots. Daily's work has appeared in such magazines as Reader's Digest, Cosmopolitan, and Good Housekeeping. Christian Birmingham--often called "Christmas" Birmingham--is famous for his holiday titles, including A Christmas Carol and A Christmas Treasury. He has illustrated many other well-received books for young readers and has been short-listed several times for national awards for distinguished illustration.
