DORIS KEARNS GOODWIN

Doris Kearns Goodwin is a Pulitzer Prize-winning historian, and is a political commentator on NBC and Fox News. She is best known for her runaway bestseller Team of Rivals, which inspired the Academy Award winning movie Lincoln, and is centered on Lincoln’s mastery of men and how it shaped the most significant presidency in the nation’s history. In 1995 Goodwin won the Pulitzer Prize for No Ordinary Time, on Eleanor and Franklin Roosevelt and the time during which a new, modern America was born. She lives in Concord, Massachusetts, with her husband, Richard N. Goodwin.
