MARY ROACH

Mary Roach writes humorous science about unusual subjects. Born in New Hampshire, she graduated from Wesleyan, and began her career as a freelancer, and handling PR for the San Francisco Zoo. Her first book, Stiff was an offshoot of a column she wrote for Salon.com. Her pieces have run in Outside, National Geographic, New Scientist, Wired, and The New York Times Magazine, as well as many others. All of her books have been New York Times bestsellers. We can hardly wait to find out what subject Ms. Roach will tackle next!
